Big Goal:
Achieve AT LEAST an 80% mastery on each Unit Test.

Tests: 60%
Class Participation: 10%
Notebook/Portfolio: 10%
Reports/Projects/Quizzes: 10%
Homework: 10%

Students are allowed to re-take quizzes and tests. Students must re-take the quiz or test before we have the next one and this will not be done during class. Students must make arrangements with me to re-take it.


Midterms will begin in 2 weeks. The 6th grade science midterm will cover material from Energy and Simple Machines, Properties of Matter, and Weather. Students will have SOME time in class to review before the midterm, but are expected to do the majority of their studying at home.
